Rustic Garlic Bread

Makes one loaf

You'll need

  • 1 country loaf or sourdough
  • 2 cloves garlic , minced
  • 1 stick butter, room temperature
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 5 -7 sprigs thyme
  • 2 sprigs rosemary

Here's how

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F
  2. Combine garlic, butter and olive oil.
  3. Slice the bread almost all the way down in thick slices and brush each slice with the butter mixture. Tuck sprigs of thyme and rosemary in between slices.
  4. Wrap the bread in foil and bake for 20min. Serve warm.
