Primal Gourmet

When I'm not working on my doctoral dissertation in Architectural History, I'm cooking, making videos, photographing and eating (in that order!) After years of struggling with weight and health, a friend of mine told me about the "Paleo" diet. More so a lifestyle, its focus on real, simple, healthy ingredients made perfect sense to me! In 8 months I lost over 40 lb., was stronger than ever and never once went hungry or, more importantly, sacrificed flavour! My mission is to prove to the foodies and dieters alike that healthy food is delicious. I try my best to use seasonal, local ingredients that are healthy, flavourful and affordable. After all, they've gotta fit with my student budget!
