Pumpkin Spiced Latte

Pumpkin Spice Latte, that popular drink that comes back every Autumn, can also be prepared at home. It's so comforting and delicious! This recipe, unlike what you will find at some coffee shops, is made with real pumpkin, so it tastes fresh and natural.




You'll need

  • 1/2 cup of freshly-made coffee
  • 2 cups of milk
  • Ground up spices: 1 tbsp cinnamon, 2 tsp ginger, 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp roasted pumpkin puree
  • Sugar to taste
  • whipped cream

Here's how

  1. Warm up the milk and mix in the pureed pumpkin, whisking until it gets foamy. Don't let it boil.
  2. Set aside and mix in the spices and sugar to taste.
  3. Pour the coffee in each mug. Using a strainer (to get rid of any pumpkin fibers) pour the milk mix over the coffee.
  4. Serve with whipped cream and cinnamon on top. Enjoy!
